Which rules apply in the South East?

Social landlords must keep the structure, exterior and installations in repair (Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, section 11) and keep homes fit for human habitation. The Regulator's Safety and Quality Standard expects an effective, efficient and timely repairs service, and repairs performance is published through the Tenant Satisfaction Measures.

What does it cost in the South East?

Our guide range for an average responsive repair in the South East is £165–£275 per job. That is the UK range of £150–£250 (derived from published totals) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 1.10 (VOA Rating Cost Guide 2026: 1.05–1.15); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Responsive repairs are usually priced against your schedule of rates or per job.

How do we deliver it?

Our operatives are briefed to look beyond the job they were sent to: a stain on the ceiling, a missing smoke alarm or a cold, damp bedroom is noted and passed to you, because a reported hazard is your responsibility from the moment it is known.
