Who are we?
Social Housing Contractors is a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), part of the S&K Group, based in Great Barr, Birmingham. We are a works contractor for social landlords: housing associations, councils, ALMOs, supported housing providers and the main contractors that serve them.
What do we do?
Responsive repairs, void works, damp and mould remediation, planned programmes such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows and roofs, retrofit, building safety works including fire doors, fire stopping, electrical remedials and alarms, adaptations, and communal and estate works. We manage our own site teams and specialist subcontractors, and we can take the principal contractor role under CDM 2015 where you appoint us to it.
