Which rules apply in the East of England?
In England, housing conditions claims follow the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims: the landlord responds to a letter of claim within 20 working days with a schedule of works, and any expert inspection follows within 20 working days of that response. The Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code has been statutory since April 2024.
What does it cost in the East of England?
Our guide range for a disrepair schedule of works in the East of England is £1,550–£8,300 per case. That is the UK range of £1,500–£8,000 (our estimate) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 1.04 (our own estimate); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
We work through the schedule item by item, and our completion report mirrors its numbering, so your legal team can match every line to evidence without a cross-referencing exercise.
