Housing disrepair works in Wales
When a disrepair case in Wales reaches the works stage, the quality of your evidence matters as much as the repair. We provide both.
We take on housing disrepair works for social landlords across Wales: housing associations, councils and supported housing providers in all 22 council areas, to the rules that apply in Wales.

Which rules apply in Wales?
Awaab's Law applies in England only, and we found no Welsh equivalent when we checked in October 2026. In Wales, the Renting Homes fitness rules list damp and mould among the matters that can make a home unfit, and WHQS 2023 requires homes to be free from damp.
What does it cost in Wales?
Our guide range for a disrepair schedule of works in Wales is £1,400–£7,450 per case. That is the UK range of £1,500–£8,000 (our estimate) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 0.93 (VOA Rating Cost Guide 2026: 0.88–0.98); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
Access is the most common reason disrepair works stall. We offer flexible appointments, confirm in writing and log every attempt, so a delay caused by refused access is clear from the record.
Common questions
Which council areas in Wales do you cover for housing disrepair works?
All 22: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan, Wrexham.
Can you also fix the cause, not just the symptom?
Yes, and we recommend it. Mould that is washed off without fixing ventilation, insulation or a leak usually comes back, which is often how a second claim starts.
Do you act for tenants making claims?
No. We work only for landlords and their agents, carrying out the repairs.
