Which rules apply in the East of England?
Social landlords are commercial clients under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, so the full client duties apply. Where there is more than one contractor, the client appoints a principal designer and a principal contractor. A project must be notified to HSE if it lasts more than 30 working days with more than 20 workers on site at once, or exceeds 500 person-days.
What does it cost in the East of England?
Our guide range for a kitchen in a replacement programme in the East of England is £5,200–£10,400 per kitchen. That is the UK range of £5,000–£10,000 (derived from published totals) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 1.04 (our own estimate); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
We finish with your asset data updated: what was renewed, when, and the expected life of each new component.
