Which rules apply in the South East?
PAS 2035:2023 sets the whole-house retrofit process (assessment, coordination, design, installation and evaluation), and PAS 2030:2023 covers installation. Most government-backed retrofit schemes require both, with TrustMark lodgement. We confirm in writing, before appointment, how each measure in your scope will meet those requirements.
What does it cost in the South East?
Our guide range for cavity wall insulation in the South East is £1,050–£2,950 per home. That is the UK range of £950–£2,700 (published figure) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 1.10 (VOA Rating Cost Guide 2026: 1.05–1.15); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
No home is filled without a suitability survey. A cavity that should not have been filled becomes a damp complaint, and then a disrepair case.

How deep should loft insulation be?

Can you remove failed cavity insulation?
Yes. Extraction is common where old fill has become wet and is bridging damp to the inner wall.
