Which rules apply in the North West?
PAS 2035:2023 sets the whole-house retrofit process (assessment, coordination, design, installation and evaluation), and PAS 2030:2023 covers installation. Most government-backed retrofit schemes require both, with TrustMark lodgement. We confirm in writing, before appointment, how each measure in your scope will meet those requirements.
What does it cost in the North West?
Our guide range for cavity wall insulation in the North West is £950–£2,750 per home. That is the UK range of £950–£2,700 (published figure) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 1.01 (VOA Rating Cost Guide 2026: 1.01–1.02); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
Loft work includes checking that the eaves are still ventilating once the new insulation is down, because blocked eaves cause condensation in the roof space.
Common questions
Which council areas in the North West do you cover for loft and cavity wall insulation?
All 35: Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Bolton, Burnley, Bury, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Chorley, Cumberland, Fylde, Halton, Hyndburn, Knowsley, Lancaster, Liverpool, Manchester, Oldham, Pendle, Preston, Ribble Valley, Rochdale, Rossendale, Salford, Sefton, South Ribble, St. Helens, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington, West Lancashire, Westmorland and Furness, Wigan, Wirral, Wyre.
