Which rules apply in Scotland?
Since 1 February 2022 every home in Scotland has needed interlinked smoke alarms in the main living room and every hall or landing, a heat alarm in the kitchen, and a carbon monoxide alarm wherever there is a carbon-fuelled appliance or flue.
What does it cost in Scotland?
Our guide range for refurbishing an acquired or temporary accommodation home in Scotland is £7,750–£24,250 per home. That is the UK range of £8,000–£25,000 (our estimate) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 0.97 (our own estimate); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.
How do we deliver it?
We hand over with everything your housing officer needs on the first day: certificates, photos, meter readings and keys.
