What does it cost in the North East?

Our guide range for an EICR with Category 1 and 2 remedials in the North East is around £840 per home. That is the UK range of around £930 (derived from published totals) adjusted by a regional cost factor of 0.90 (VOA Rating Cost Guide 2026: 0.89–0.93); figures are before VAT where the source states it. Every job is priced after survey; specification, access and the condition of the homes will move the figure.

All 12: County Durham, Darlington, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Redcar and Cleveland, South Tyneside, Stockton-on-Tees, Sunderland.
