Which rules apply in the East of England?
Under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, in residential buildings with storeys over 11 metres high, communal fire doors must be checked every three months and flat entrance doors every year on a best-endeavours basis. The Fire Safety Act 2021 confirmed that flat entrance doors fall under the Fire Safety Order.
What does it cost in the East of England?
We price communal area refurbishment in the East of England after a survey rather than from a guide range, because the scope of floors, lighting, door entry and fire safety items varies from block to block. Send us the details and we will arrange a visit.
How do we deliver it?
We report any fire safety defects we find in the area, such as missing signage, damaged doors or breaches in compartmentation, even where they are outside our scope.
